Background

Before listening, everybody should understand the following:

I am not a singer - neither I have a formal music training, nor I have some basic knowledge of music/singing. Yes, from my childhood days, I am very much fond of listening music – Hindi, Bengali and later English; semi-classical to be more specific.

As I am reaching almost half-century, now I am trying things - which I had never done in my life. So, now for the first time, I am recording the sound which are out from my lips. These songs are close to my heart - I have tried to sing these songs for my own happiness or own satisfaction - and nothing else. Eai gaangulo amar bhalolaga - amar bhalobasha.

As I am pretty weak in singing, that's why I have decided to start with singing along with the actual performers - just like the children usually sing nursery rhymes together or in a group. Usually I sing a piece of music while playing the original song in my laptop. And for the recording, I use my iPhone.

I have picked up solo songs; and some duet songs also. On those duets, I have asked my wife Putul to provide her beautiful voice - although she is not trained but her voice is sweet.

And I have done some experiments also - for some solo songs I/we made those as duet songs; even I picked a female song and sung as duet...
