Shruti or śruti is a Sanskrit word, found in the Vedic texts of Hinduism where it means lyrics and "what is heard" in general. And Natok is a type of theater or any drama. So, Shruti Natok is Audio Drama, generally aired on Radio (later also on Television) in Bengal.
Both of us, i.e, Putul and myself are not professionals and not even trained performers. As we are staying out of Bengal - on a Bengali New Year's Day, we decide to try out something new in a community program and that's how it started.
