We know that SAP HANA solutions mainly supports Intel based CPU architecture apart from IBM Power8(8 variants) and IBM Power9(16 variants).
For certified and supported SAP HANA solutions, H/W Vendors leverage Intel processors available in the market:
1st Generation – Nehalem, Westmere (2010)
2nd Generation – Sandy Bridge (2011)
3rd Generation – Cooper Lake, Ivy Bridge (2012)
4th Generation – Haswell (2013)
5th Generation – Broadwell (2015)
6th Generation – Skylake (2015)
10th Generation – Ice Lake (2018), Cascade Lake (2019)
Other Intel processors: Kaby Lake (2016), Kaby Lake R/Coffee Lake/Amber Lake/Cannon Lake (2017/2018), Coffee Lake R(2017), Comet Lake/Amber Lake R, Tiger Lake, etc.

SAP-certified Azure Virtual Machines
Azure on-demand VMs certified for SAP NetWeaver applications such as SAP Business Suite, and SAP HANA-based applications such as SAP S/4HANA.
In Azure, one can spin up SAP infrastructure on-demand in minutes.
BYOL - Bring Your Own SAP Licenses to the cloud - fully supported.
Save 40-75% in infrastructure costs for development and test workloads.
Memory up to 4 TB supported using SAP HANA-certified M-series virtual machines.
One can use the built-in services, e.g. backup, disaster recovery, etc.
